An amazing thing
An amazing thing happened the other day..
Bruce Sterling sent me an email to tell me that William Gibson had (kind of) written about my film.
It was a genuine pinch-myself-to-see-if-i’m-awake moment, the equivalent of Coco Chanel telling you that Louis Vuitton tried on your bag (if you’re really into handbags, that is). If Neal Stephenson posts a comment, I’ll admit that I’m dreaming.
This started me thinking that I’d like to define a new ‘~punk’ for AR/locative media fiction, as I’m not sure cyberpunk still fits. Mediapunk? Geopunk? Hmm, I might have to think some more about this one.
